Maya Jama and Stormzy: All The Gossip, Love, and Possible Reunion?
The couple met in 2015, when Maya was just starting out on MTV, aged 20, and Stormzy hadn't even released his first single yet, ages 21. Maya now describes them as 'just babies'. They stayed together for 4 years before calling it a day in 2019. Stormzy even wrote a song called 'Birthday Girl' dedicated to Maya, with Maya also appearing in his 2017 hit 'Big For Your Boots' music video. In 2018, he told the Sunday Mirror he was looking forward to proposing to Maya, and that she was 'the best'. It all seemed to be going so well... In 2019, Stormzy was accused of cheating on Maya, however, he has fully denied this in interviews. Maya went on to find love with Kendall Jenner's ex Ben Simmons, who proposed to her in Christmas 2021. However, they also split in 2022, citing their 'non-stop careers, and endless travel' as the reason.
Despite all of this, its been no shock that fans have been rooting for Maya and Stormzy to get back together since their split, and now fans think this could finally be on the cards....
They've been spotted at numerous of the same events in 2022, also seen hugging eachother at a Kendrick Lamar concert at the O2 in London. Following the GQ Men of the Year Awards in November 2022, they were also spotted leaving the venue minutes apart. Its claimed they were chatting throughout the entire O2 event, and then sat together chatting at the after party too. In his recent album, Stormzy wrote another song for Maya, talking about losing a love and what life could be like if they were still together. Maya and Stormzy are both currently single, despite being linked to various people.
