The Lowdown on The King's Coronation
You may or may not have watched the coronation over the weekend. You may or may not agree with the coronation, or the fortunes spent on it.
But you definitely want to know the GOSSIP on it! Right?
So, the concert, which celebrities turned down their invitation to attend?
- Kylie Minogue. Kylie turned down her chance to perform, after things started to get quite political surrounding the big day. It appears Aussies are becoming less keen on the constitution of the royal family.
- Elton John. The iconic Elton turned down, stating it was due to conflict of timing with his European Tour.
- The Spice Girls
- Adele. She said she already had other contractual work commitments to attend.
- Harry Styles. Currently on world tour
This would have no doubt came as a blow to organisers, who thought it would be easy to secure such big acts for a day like this. Apparently Adele and Ed Sheeran were top of the King's list.
However, Ed claims he wasn't even invited...
There has also been noticeable tension from Harry at the coronation. Harry also missed the walk-out and the rest of the weekend, as he headed straight back to Heathrow after the official coronation, to get back to Meghan and his kids.
